How the Valve Operates

nput air pressure retracts the needle from the nozzle seat, allowing fluid to flow. At the same time, nozzle air flows around the nozzle and atomizes the fluid into fine droplets. (Figure 1) Once the cycle is completed, the spring returns the piston needle back to its position to shut off the fluid. (Figure 2)
